Young Guns: Riley Enns

Riley Enns of the Fernie Ghostriders is this week’s Young Guns, presented by the Next Shift Network, as he had a goal and three assists in four games.

The Gibbons, Alta. product collected three points in the Ghostriders’ 4-0 win in Game 6 against the Beaver Valley Nitehawks. In the four games, Enns says he used his speed and was hard to play against and relentless on the forecheck.

“I liked how I was constantly trying to create offence and attack the net,” says Enns. “In my last game, I stuck to our team structure and had a couple of chances where me and my linemates were able to capitalize. We had tons of energy with the hometown crowd and were putting everything on the net.”

In 43 regular season games, Enns had 14 goals and 12 assists. He’s added two goals and four assists in 17 Teck Cup playoff games.
