Spring Camp

2022-2023 Ghostriders Spring Identification Camps (2007 and older)

The Fernie Ghostriders of the KIJHL are excited to partner with the Coquitlam Express to host their 2022 Spring Camp April 1-3. If you’re taking your hockey career to the next level the first step would be attending our upcoming Spring Identification Camps. With the Ghostriders partnering with the BCHL Coquitlam Express, players will have the opportunity to have the most exposure possible.

The Coaching Staff from both organizations will use this camp to evaluate all players over the weekend with the intent of giving players an opportunity for a main camp invite.

The Coquitlam Express Organization saw over a dozen players getting invited to Main Camp after being identified at one of their Spring Camps last year. Players like Emmett McHardy, Brody Juck, Davis Frank, and others were first identified at an Express ID Camp.

Only players who are geographically and age-eligible may attend a KIJHL spring camp. Meaning that they must be a 2007 birth year or older if they are a BC resident, or a 2004 birth year or older if they are an out-of-province or American player.

The Spring Identification Camp will run three days (Friday to Sunday) and include camp practices, games, and meetings with the Coaching staff.

The Ghostriders are only hosting one Spring Identification Camp this year for players born between 2002 and 2007. The cost to participate in a Spring Identification Camp is $299 (plus GST).
