The Fernie Ghostriders Junior A Hockey Club are pleased to announce that we have hired Chad Scharff as our new Head Coach/ General Manager.
Chad comes to our team with a great deal of Elite Hockey Coaching Experience, being involved with both Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada. Chad has also worked for the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Giants.
Chad played for the Vancouver Giants, helping his team to become the Memorial Cup Champions and being honored to be the recipient of the team’s Humanitarian award.
Chad, along with his wife Tracy and their two daughters Brooklyn and Kennedy will be making Fernie their home and spending time in our beautiful community.

The Fernie Ghostriders Junior A Hockey Club would like to thank Ty Valin for all his hard work over the past three seasons. Ty worked hard to build our team, leading our team to the League final round last season. We wish Ty and his family all the best in his future endeavours!
